New Mickey Mouse Craft Ideas Coming Soon

A fresh batch of Mickey Mouse inspiration is headed to my craft table. I ordered the new pieces as soon as I saw them, and I can already tell they’ll bring a lot of fun to future projects, especially because Mickey connects my childhood with Bear’s.

Mickey Mouse Craft Ideas Are Coming

I hopped on before leaving the house because I wanted to share the news while the new Mickey Mouse items were fresh on my mind. I had already placed my order, and now I’m looking forward to seeing everything in person and coming up with ideas to share.

Mickey has been around for so much of my life, and there’s something special about seeing that familiar character become part of Bear’s childhood too. He’s still so little, but Mickey is already one of his favorite characters.

That connection across generations gets me every time. I remember Mickey from my own childhood, and now I get to enjoy those same smiles and familiar images with my grandson. Those memories will make the projects even more fun once my order arrives.

I didn’t go through individual designs or project plans because I had just ordered everything. I’ll share the actual Mickey Mouse craft ideas after the pieces arrive and I have a chance to start creating.

A Morning When I Needed to Get Out

This was also one of those mornings when I got dressed and decided I was going somewhere. Staying in the house all day wasn’t part of my plan, so I narrowed my choices down to Aldi, Walmart, or possibly both.

I planned to keep the trips short because I needed to get back home and make corn chowder. I had tested the recipe about five or six days earlier, and it turned out really good. This time I planned to make it from memory, the way our grandmothers cooked.

I didn’t have a detailed Aldi shopping list. My plan was to walk through the store and see what Aldi thought I needed. That nonfood aisle can get me because I’ve found tiered tray pieces, pots, and other fun things there before. I have a couple of pots from past trips that I really love.

The fun part is spotting something unexpected. If I find an item that works in my home or gives me a new decorating idea, I usually know it when I see it.

My TikTok Jumpsuit

I also shared the jumpsuit I was wearing because I bought it through TikTok and liked the way it fit. Most of the people I’d seen wearing this style had a loose, oversized fit, but I wanted mine a little less baggy.

I sized down and ordered either a small or a medium. I couldn’t remember the exact size while I was talking, so I won’t pretend I did. Going down a size gave me a more fitted look, although I probably could have worn it a little bigger too.

Jumpsuits are easy to wear, and I love them right up until I need to go to the bathroom. This particular one also gave me a little mechanic look, which made me laugh. I still liked it enough to wear it for my errands and planned to share a photo later.

If you’re considering a loose jumpsuit like this, the fit you want matters. Your regular size may give you that roomy, baggy look, while sizing down can bring it closer to the body. Mine still felt casual, but it didn’t have as much extra fabric as the ones I’d seen online.

Coffee, Car Mirrors, and Real Life

The light in the car has a way of pointing out every little thing. I noticed the coffee and tea stains on my teeth and joked that I might need to stop for Crest White Strips. Car mirrors are also very good at showing you any chin hairs that need attention.

Those little moments are part of why I enjoy hopping on and talking with everyone. A morning can include Mickey Mouse memories, an Aldi run, a new jumpsuit, corn chowder, and a reminder that the car mirror keeps us humble.

Plans for the Rest of the Day

After my errands, I planned to head home and make that corn chowder. Since I was working from memory, I didn’t share measurements or a full recipe. The first test had gone well, though, so I felt ready to put it together again.

Jenni was also coming over later for a Whatnot sale that was scheduled for 6 PM Central Time on the day I recorded this. It was shaping up to be a full day, but a fun one with errands, cooking, visiting, and plenty of conversation.

The new Mickey Mouse items were still the part I was most excited to share. I’ll post the project details once the order arrives and I start creating with them.
