Awesome Bird
Crafts
And awesome friend!
Please welcome my guest today!
Hi ReFresh Fans! I’m Carmella, the crazy girl behind the Creative Carmella blog.
I am so happy to be here while our sweet friend Debbie is living it up at the Haven Conference.
I have been inspired by Mrs. ReFresh since the moment I “met” her, I think I may have even asked if I could move in with her { a few times }
Today, I wanted to share a simple idea for a thrift store find. These days I am so busy chasing my three kids around {ages 7, 5, and 9 months} so SIMPLE is about all I am able to do!
It starts with this little bird
{A thrift store find breaking the bank at 25 cents! }
He started his life as a salt and pepper shaker. Poor thing!
I used some of my kiddos air drying clay to patch up those little holes and then I got out my trusty can of spray pain in a shade of antique white
And…after a few good coats…
He has a new life!
I tend to move things around in my house like a crazy person…so he will get to see lots of new places, but I think I like him best here…
In my art studio where I can keep a good eye on him ;)
So…how about that for a simple makeover??
I knew I loved that little bird from the moment I first met him!
Thanks so much Debbie for having me! And thanks to you all for reading!
I would love for you all to come chat with me on Facebook, or stop by for a visit at my blog too!
Any friend of Mrs. ReFresh is a friend of mine!
