Here’s what I did with 1 board, an 8’ long 1” x 6”:

Clamp and nail boards together. Do the sides and bottom first and then add the 7” end pieces. I painted my box with this DecoArt chalky finish paint. Love the color and you can find it at Home Depot! As I was scanning the Christmas isles I spotted this 3-piece snowy pine tree set of cuties and knew immediately what I’d do with them. I love the little galvanized buckets. After pre-drilling and attaching my hooks, I decorated my stocking hanger. You can use whatever you like, make it your own.
